Seller Account Verification Over Phone to Live Person
Hello. I'm in need of some expert advice. I just opened a new seller account in a family members name (different last name). I used a new bank account (in their name), new Paypal account (in their name), new address, new everything. Problem is I can't list anything, says I can list zero items. I went in and called eBay and they said that my account needed to be verified and that some question were going to be asked. She said five questions were going to be asked which were "multiple choice". First thing she said was that my name and address do not match. I was dumbstruck and didn't know what to say so I said for her to let me call her back.
i'm in real need of what to say to get this account verified. I didn't even get past the first question she asked. Can someone help me on this? I was very nervous when i called in and pretended to have a accent kind of, lol. What are the other four questions and how should I answer them? The person who's name I'm using lives in the same house that my ID that got banned is associated with, so I don't want to give me real address. She did once live at another address last year and then years before that, but she had her name changed by then.
My previous ID is not "banned" its just severely limited. Im sure if I link this account with that one that some serious red flags will come up. True right? Everything seemed a-okay with the new account but I need to just get it verified properly! I just don't want to say anything that will mess it up over the phone.
