Tracfone will not change phone numbers

long time member here. been a few years since i posted. i came to verify this topic. it has happened to me on two tracfones. i have one that has 2 weeks left on it and wanted to use up the rest of the minutes. but my phone says sim is unactivated. this happened after i attempted to change the phone number. it has been like that for days.

i gave up on it and opened a new phone. created an ebay account etc... everything worked. then i went to change number and same thing. really ticking me off. i am hearing impaired so calling customer service is not an option for me.

and to some previous posters. you can change your tracfone number as many times as you want. i have in the past used up all 20 minutes i get on my phone and created up to 60 accounts with just one $10 phone.

is your sim card BLUE or BLACK ?

My SIM is white. Please every1 call tracfone and complain about this issue. The more people we get to call them maybe they will investigate issure closer.

i can confirm all is working again. you will need to go to website and go through activation again.

whew what a hassle tracfone is.
