Buying Just SIM Cards?

I have a $5 tracfone but already used the number. Can I just buy any GSM SIM card online for 99 cents and assign it a zip code? Are there certain ones for tracfone only?

most sims for tracfones would cost more than the whole $5 phone with sim and not come with minutes

so your better off buying the whole phone

Id rather pay a few bucks more to not have 100 phones unless I can sell them off. What kind of SIMs work though?

just search 'tracfone sim' on ebay but keep in mind most would require you to pay for minutes right off the bat as well
