Freedompop "Snowden" phone

So I was searching for any way to get unlimited number changes and came upon what people refer to as Freedompop's "Snowden" phone. Its a galaxy S2 with encryption and vpn. It has unlited talk and text plus 500 mb data which can be increased to 1.5 gigs with the freedompop friends thing.
However the real beneficial part is unlimited phone number changes from their website. They use the sprint network.
Its pricey at $189 but it seems like it would be worth it as a 1 time charge.
Anybody have any thoughts on it?

Although you can change your number as frequently as you like, there is a charge for it.

What's the charge? They don't provide a lot of info prior to purchasing I noticed.

Actually, I just bought a FreedomPop phone as a birthday gift for a child and when I placed my order, they gave me the option, for $5, to get a USB internet stick with 500MB monthly data for $3.99 - not a bad deal at all.

Of course, 500MB won't replace your internet connection, but for stealth it is fine and it costs $3.99 per month. I can live with that!

You can get an extra gigabyte per month by sharing with friends and some other stuff.
I posted on another thread how I was successful in changing the ip if you plan on using it on more than one stealth account.

Stay away from the HTC Desire 510. It's probably fine for stealth only, but for use, the internal storage comes almost completely full, making it very difficult to run any apps.

That's ridiculous. People put tons of apps, pictures and music on their phones. How can a Desire 510 come almost completely full? Is there an area for a micro sd card?

they sell a ton of old and refurbed phones that are 3-4 years old. their SIP apps suck down everything unless you use an iphone, GS3, GS4 or another flagship device.

they cut corners to keep the service alive, especially since WiMax dies 3 months. but, when you get a decent device, everything is fine.

You thing $189 is expensive for a mobile phone!, you ought to live over here after conversion to UK pounds that's dirt cheap, honestly over here mobiles can run well into the hundred's of pounds.
