Paypal phone verification (USA)
 

Hi,

I tried some of the suggestions here but none worked.

Callcentric, Textnow, even had a friend from the US help me, but no text message with the verification code.

This appeared when I tried to send the first payment (it's a stealth account).

Anyone know any good service to verify paypal phone number? I can pay with Bitcoin or Paypal once I add a phone number.

To verify a paypal phone you can get a tracfone, they're $4.99 at a lot of local retailers in the US. Google voice also works with PayPal but not eBay.

Actually, it's not fixed.

I confirmed the phone, I have a VBA linked but when I try to send a payment, I get:

Do I have to add a VCC as well? If I add a VCC, paypal will be 100% complete.
Is SSN required for sending payments?

SSN is not required for sending payments.
Adding a VCC might help but its not guaranteed.
It sounds like theres a soft limit on the account which is preventing you from sending payments.
What funds are you trying to use? did you get a payment sent to you and youre trying to use those funds to send a payment yourself? if so how long ago was this payment received?

I've read another thread on aspkin about the same exact issue and apparently, I have to wait 24 hours, delete cookies and try again. I don't send funds as soon as I receive them, I received the money more than 3 days ago and I'm trying to send around ~$30 now.

It probably has something to do with the fact that I added a new phone number.

Maybe you need to stop doing all these foolish things......read a bit more and get all your ducks in a row before doing all these transfers, etc. It seems like your in a rush to get accounts limited.

recommend google voice phone number. I did it many times and so far everything's good.

Why google voice is not good for eBay? Any specific reason? I haven't found any info regarding the reason anywhere of why this type of number is not good for eBay.... Which other US phone number method will work instead for eBay & PayPal if I am not in US?
