Bought 6 New TracFones - All needs new sims. Anyone else getting this?
 

Hi, so I decided to make some new stealth account since a few went down, and I want to expand my business. I bought 6 of the Alcatel 205G phones directly from the TracFone website. I managed to activate one of the phones last week and made a stealth account. Today I got back from work and attempted to make my 2nd stealth account, but when I tried to activate the TracFone, the system told me to call customer support. I called them and they said they need to mail me a new Sim Card. I said OK. Then I proceded to try and make a 2nd account, and I got the same message.

I just wanted to see if someone else ran into this problem, or is it just me since I really don't want to go through the hassle to call them to activate 6 new phones and for them to send me new Sim cards.

It must be something particular to that phone, or the batch they were selling. It is not normal. I think it is much easier to get these phones in stores.

I dont like the phones from tracfone.com. The store bought phones have always worked better for me.

I just bought one from Family Dollar, and I got the same problem. Are there any other prepaid phones that I can use for eBay?

All of them will work fine as a general rule.

What about the one's at Bestbuy for 4.99? Not sure if it comes with free minutes.

never had any issues, all the tracfones i buy from Kroger all came with 10 minutes, just enough to do what I need to do for verification purposes.
