i need a service other than google voice that can receive a text from paypal for confirming identity.

i can take the regular text you get when you add a mobile to the account but i need one to when i click confirm identity it doesnt say the number isnt registered in the name. i will buy alot add me on skype iphoneunlockboss

The problem is that "IF" you have a number registered with PayPal.....adding a new Number "MAY" Not work. You need to make sure that when you do register the PayPal Account you have a working solution for this issue. Have you tried any of the Phone Forwarding Services online?

Why google voice is not good for eBay? Any specific reason? I haven't found any info regarding the reason anywhere of why this type of number is not good for eBay.... Which other US phone number method will work instead for eBay & PayPal if I am not in US?

Use Skype, they call you and tell you the pin. You can buy a skype number online via their website.
