about ebay calling in future
 

Dear,

I am a Hong Kong Seller, located in HK, just purchased a USA stealth ebay and paypal account, with a verified phone US number (Tracfone).

After i read some message there, i know ebay may call me in future once my listing or sales increase, so i am worry about this issue.

(1) Since i am not physically hold this sim card, and this sim card will be expired within 1 month. What can i do if this number expired and ebay can't find me by this number in future?

(2) someone say i can use Google Voice service for call forwarding, but is that still work even the sim card expired? i am wondering about it.

If your worried you should first find a Phone Forwarding Service that can forward the USA Phone Number to a HK phone number.....Once you establish a working forwarding Number then change the phone number on Ebay.

You mean i firstly find another US phone number which can be forwarded to my HK phone number, then change this number on file to replace the default stealth one?

Or you can just change the number on the ebay account to one that is app based and just use that app on your smartphone. That way youll have access to it at all times.

you can add a second phone number as a backup method. Then you use forwarding call service for this phone number. I think it's ok

Can you have the person who sold you the account refill the phone for you? That is another option. Of course, you would have to pay for the refill cards. If that is not possible, then I would suggest adding a secondary number and keeping that one active. People DO change their numbers. And Google Voice would not necessarily be my first choice, but you CAN get a Google Voice number and then get another number that will forward TO the Google Voice number.

I have dozens of accounts that used and use Google Voice and none have ever been limited.
Dont post misleading information if you cannot back it up please.

google voice has worked well with paypal for me not ebay

Use GV after the account has been created. If you ever need to call in to eb or pp use that number, which is free and will stay in service for a long time. This will work and will not get you suspended if you do it in that order.
