how long after your service days expire are the phone numbers good until?

I've tried to research that very question myself.

But during the last 30 days, I have reactivated 2 expired Tracfones that were expired by about 3 weeks, and on both occasions I was given back the same phone number.

I suspect everyday after 30 days the chances of getting the same number diminish greatly.

Hmmm, we got one back after 43 days.

That number had been "ours" for 4 years.
