Google Voice question

I plan to create a new eBay account using Google Voice as a phone number. I plan to use my cell phone as a forward-to number.

My question is: in case my eBay account went down, I would need a new Google Voice account to register with a new eBay account. Can I just cancel the old GV account, then register a new GV account and number, and use the same cell phone number to forward to?

I have never used Google Voice before so this is all new to me.

GV is not a good option for most people, your ebay account will almost guaranteed get limits of 0/$0 if using GV

Yes its free & over abused so can cause problems with limits / get a tracfone
