Verizon Prepaid Phone
 

Hello everyone,

I was thinking about getting verizon prepaid phone with 15 dollar plan a month. Is it the same as the tracfone 5 changes a month now?

I NEVER use TracFone...I have ALWAYS used Verizon prepaid phone. Just the cheap $12 Gusto from Walmart. I then load $5 (minimum) to the phone so that I can verify the phone number on ebay and paypal accounts. Funds last 2 months before needing reloaded. You can choose to pay as you go...25 cents per minute or 20 cents per text. Or you can choose other calling plans. I just use the basic 25 cents per minute and 20 cents per text. ALSO, lately these have been coming with $10 of airtime already loaded. Real nice.

Verizon says 2 plans j can choose from, 15 or 30 dollars.

Log in to your Verizon account online and you will see the option for a standard usage plan that will be a pay as you go type thing. 25 cents per minute or 20 cents per text. The one you are choosing is a daily or monthly plan.

I found the following information on the Verizon website.

I'm wondering if the $1.99 plan wouldn't be the better option because it's only $1.99 on the days the phone is used. I seldom, if ever, have to use a stealth phone after the initial verification but should I ever have to call eB or PP I'd rather pay $1.99 for the day than $0.25/minute (third plan), especially if there is a long hold period or a lengthy conversation with a rep. On the $0.25/minute plan I'd be at $2.00 after only 8 minutes of a phone conversation. Granted, the first day of use (verification text) would cost $1.99 vs. $0.20 for a text but ... Thoughts?

What is the "Refill Expiration" and how does it work?

i never call ebay unless i have to same with paypal but u can always use skype or hangouts to call them

does hangouts work without any problems? Im always worried about that because it can see the numbers. Do you just call the 800 number?
