Use "burner" app or "sideline app from app store for phone verification

Don't buy a Trac phone or some other prepaid phone. I just used an app called BURNER from the playstore that puts a second number on you existing phone. I just used it to do the phone verification for ebay and paypal and it worked like a charm !

a lot of us use apps. Tons of them work if not most.
Just have to keep the number active and a lot of times they pull very low limits and sometimes you get 0-0 because of it or a request to call in.

I am wondering what the OP will say, Jeff, a member on here did a test with one of those apps and he mostly got 5/500 limits.

I dont mind those limits, some of my strongest accounts started that low but I prefer higher limits.

Yotano, I'm always fascinated with what people offer as advice....usually there's nothing relevant to support their advice. It takes ppl like me to ask follow up questions to get the full story out them, as I always..."It's like pulling teeth"!.

I'm just at the phone verification stage at the moment. I still need to do a vcc to start selling to get back on. Even if it's a low limit I'm ok with that. At least I didn't have to go buy another ohone. Right ??

You can make calls with the app number if they request a call in. The app let's you purchase a longer limit on the number way cheaper then buying a Trac phone and minutes

Were you able to verify the phone with paypal? Was it able to get the SMS message from them?

Yes...both ebay and paypal..try it. Just put the app on your phone,choose a number and then use it to get the sms verification from paypal and ebay. I upgraded to a business paypal account .

I will for sure I'm new to all of this so the last thing I need to get is a credit card..not sure how to do it yet. Can you point me in the right direction for that

Correct, EBay can tell if the number is a VOIP. Just a bit of advice, when you make a comment such as "Don't buy a Trac phone or some other prepaid phone." and making a suggestion...make sure you have tested your method.

Thanks MM78. You walked this one down, pretty much knew what the results would be and never said " I told you those numbers produce low limits to no limit's".
