What questions do they ask for when you call for category limitations?
 

As the title says. If u call to remove category limitations, what would they ask? Anyone have any experience on this?

I would say something along the lines of having xx products that you picked up and you need to sell beyond the limits imposed. You can get creative but from my experience it comes down to luck and having a friendly rep on the other end

I tried this a couple of times and was asked for an SSN.

If this is a category where the limits are lifted or increased automatically, I would let it happen automatically. When a human being takes a look at your account, anything can happen.

As an FYI, I am not saying that everyone who calls in regarding a category limit is going to be hit with an SSN request, I am just telling you what my experience has been. I no longer call in to lift category limitations, but it SI possible that someone else could have a different experience.

Does anyone know when the 30 day ends? The 30th day after you started the listing or 30 days AFTER your listing ends?

In the UK its much more simple, I could just pop into live chat, explain the situation and they would give me a one off chance to list whatever I wanted in a limited category as long as it's a reasonable listing and the products clearly aren't ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Good luck with ringing them!

I didn't get the chance to, I have so many accounts already anyways lol. I was just scared, like Jeff said, that they will ask for SSN.
