I just got confirmation directly from Vumber that they blocked eBay verification numbers. VUMBER R.I.P.

wow did u get a email about this because I didn't and if this is true what other options do we have

yes i did get an email from vumber to confirm.

seems the ebay bookeys paid them off just as they did the others. And i just paid these b******s $10 to now is a useless severice

Really bad news for me. I have been using vumber for months. really great service, but can't use any more.
Any other great website? dead end?

Did they give a reason why? Or do they simply want their site to go out of business?

For people saying ebay paid vumber off, I HIGHLY doubt that.

All ebay would have to do is inform vumber that what the majority of their numbers are doing, how its a major security issue, and suggest that they do something about it. And if they didnt, possible legal actions could be taken. So to avoid that and make the world a safer place, they sided with ebay.

yep eather way vumber sold out to ebay. And maybe its safe not to post anything working methods on these fourms such as the paypal hold glitch.

does tracefone is available for non in usa ?

I did a google search and found quite a few opitions to optaining numbers for ebay verfiy but there all costly like $15 or more a month and they want the money up front even if they do have a free trail they still do a pre authorize.

what are the options

just look up virtual phone numbers on any search there are lots of them

You can just buy a tracphone from walmart for like $10 and it comes with 20 minutes and with that phone I think you can verify it with both ebay and paypal.I will check to see if this method works later this week.

I tried to verify and the message "we are experiencing technical difficulties." Didn't work with amazon either.

the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago ,if you try another number that will work .the problem is on ebay sistem .

Are you sure about this, because i got the same message yesterday? Anybody else got this message ever?

I tried again today, same thing. I selected call in 2 minutes and it at least went to the page that asks for the numbers, but no call from ebay.

Are you using the same number? Caireusa says to change numbers.

So does the T**C phones work?

Can someone please give me a list of countries that DO NOT get phone calls from Ebay for verification purposes when trying to sell items? I know USA and Canada get calls but what about Asian and other foreign countries? Please help

There is NO country that does not have the chance of a phone call from ebay. LOL. Maybe Ubekistan? Nah, ebay 'closed' that little out some years back. All selling accounts need a phone number in case ebay wants to call. Japan gets fewer calls. Other Asian countries are lower on the call rate.
