Can I use and Confirm a Real Tracphone and then use Google Voice Later?
 

If I buy a TracFone and verify my accounts (PayPal/eBay) and make my first call to eBay on it can I then switch to a google voice number so that I don't have to keep the track phone number active?

You absolutely can, but keep that on the down low. That's what I've done with my accounts. That way if Ebay or Paypal ever needs to call me they are able to reach me (they don't seem to mind the google voice prompt), and if I ever need to call them I just spoof my number. I'm on the phone with both of them frequently and I've never had a problem.

I found out this works a few months ago when I had a bank account closed. I needed to attach a new bank account to a Paypal but I couldn't because I didn't have the original phone. So I attached a GV number to Paypal. It took several months, but the GV number finally showed up as one of the options on the "call/text me" verification page.
