Anyone have experience with Importing HDMI Cables?
 

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone on here have/had experience with importing generic HDMI cables? I was reading around and apparently HDMI is trademarked and you need an actually license or authorized manufacture to have these considered "genuine". What if it is just an hdmi cable, adapter, or connector with no "HDMI" logo on them? If anyone can shed some light or experience on this I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Yeah I have looked at this before, is this just referring to the Logos themselves? Because I am more interested in HDMI cables with no logos, and if US Customs is actively engaged in seizing them.

If you want a 100% correct yes or no answer you going to need to talk with a copyright lawyer

I do not want a correct yes or no 100% answer. I am aware of copyright lawyers but I what I am asking for are other members experiences with importing HDMI cables. If anyone has done it and what their experience was. That's all.

I dont think other members will answer you. Besides the profit margins on those cables are not worth it. I looked into last year and each sale was a lost even after talking to over 8 suppliers.

Profit margin indeed has been annoying to many people. Follow James' advice and get that legal advice
