Another "Please contact DHL"
 

So I have been buying/selling on eBay since 2001 and this is the first time I have had any sort of customs issues.
I ordered some automotive lighting ballasts for my car from Lithuania from a reputable seller and were sent via DHL.
Well DHL attempted to deliver the package on Monday (5/8) and left a notice. I signed the notice and left it on my door for re-delivery. That came and went so today I called my local DHL office and they told me customs had them and gave me who I assume is a local case worker's number. I called him and all he asked was for my name and what was in the package, told me it can take 30 days to determine if it will be seized or released.
Should I be contacting the seller to alert them of this to get a refund or another package sent?

I contacted the seller and he is suppose to get in touch with DHL, IDK what else to do. The items were not counterfeit or anything illegal. Just automotive lighting ballasts.

Does your tracking say anything about the package being with the customs? We have something similar to this. The package cleared the customs was already in local city and than the tracking said contact dhl . The reps told us that the package was taken by customs and that the tracking no longer will update. Another rep told us that the customs didn't take the package and that they will inspect it on site so now I'm just confused. Didn't get anything in the mail yet (it's been since Tuesday) so I'm curios if it's normal and if your tracking reflected what dhl saying or not.

I started a new threat, but my package just said custom status updates. Given a release by customs and something along the lines that unless there is another inspection
