Help Please!! What Happened To My EMS Package?
 

How are you doing everyone? I am new to this Forums.

Recently I got some problems with my EMS(USPS) package from China(EA319198334CN). It is just some jewelries for my friends' birthday. The package "August 24, 2017, 2:18 pm Inbound Out of Customs", and should be delivered on Aug, 25, but on that day, it shows "August 25, 2017, 11:49 am Unclaimed/Being Returned to Sender CHICAGO, IL 60688"

This seems to me is impossible, because it is not my local post office(I am living in California), how did they attempt to deliver my package?
And yesterday I tried to schedule a redeliver for my package and then the package tracking never updates.

Someone know what is wrong with my package? And how can I try to get it without return to sender?

You best be calling USPS and not waiting for any of us to know what's going on!

Good luck on the post office actually picking up your call, they never answer. I recommend going physically to the post office.

Went to the post office and Emailed the USPS representative, and they have no idea why it attempt to deliver in Chicago. They said it probably need reship!!!

That was my first thought. Shipper used wrong address for your shipment. Ask them to check their records.

The sender got the package several weeks ago. I asked what was happened, and he told me that the shipping label is not broken, but the package seems to be opened. I assume it might be opened by the custom, but I do not receive any latter from them. Is this really happen if they checked the Package and just returned? By the way, I have another Package coming next week, is the gonna to be a trouble for me?
