DHL delivery to a POX and you get a PIN?
 

Somebody told me that, in UK for example, when you receive an DHL package you have the option to get it shipped to your home or to pick it up from DHL. If you choose to get it picked up from you DHL then you get a PIN on your phone and BOX number . You then go to DHL Location, and you go to that BOX and INSERT your pin.

How is that service called? in witch countries it is available ?

You can have any DHL delivery facility hold your shipments for pickup just by calling them in advance. Used to do it for all of ours in USA.

When I knew we had a shipment coming in I would call our local warehouse with the tracking number and ask them to hold it for me instead of putting it on a delivery truck. It's a win-win. We got our shipments sooner and they saved gas by not having to drive them to us. I rarely do it anymore since we aren't at an apartment anymore, but every once in a while I'll need a shipment desperately so I'll call the warehouse, ask them to hold it, then pick it up as soon as the plane lands.

IDK how close you are to your delivery facility but we're only about 30 miles away.

Can you explain to me what that "Signature required" means for DHL,etc? I know that if they find me @ home they put me to sign ...but... what if deliver the pack near a park , hotel,swimming pool,etc?
