Please I got a package shipped to Nigeria using usps and it got to Lagos Nigeria on 24th and was sent to customs office on 27th since then I haven't received any new from it is it a good thing.

This is normal for USPS shipments. They barely show any updates after leaving USA.

I've been struggling with this fact in my day-to-day operations for years now.

deepends on how you ship with USPS,first class mail has no tracking after leaving the country,priority envelope and small box,same.
Only the large USPS priority box and express and priority intl guarantee will track after leaving the country.
also once it is in customs,tracking will continue only after it clears customs.
Depends on the country,customs clearance can take longer like Brazil,AND sometimes it could be stolen or confiscated by customs

ask your seller to contact USPS 1-800 intl customer service and ask if they have more information,depends on how she sent,USPS could also email Nigerian postal service.

where do you ship to?and what is the content?
I have been using USPS for all my overseas shipment,most are first class,some priority,cant recall when is the last time I have a problem?
A few cases with Mexico,Brazil,rUSSIA .thats was long ago,Brazil customs is just overloaded with foreign shipments,for some reason,consumer goods are expensive in Brazil,
