EMS shipping time

This may be a question to where there's no definite answer. Only wanting the total shipping times, as of late from people that have had parcels shipped out of India, coming to the Southeast United States, via New York, NY Customs. I had vaping devices, etc. shipped to me last summer, from India and total shipping time was 16 days, in which this vendor stated it would take 8-10 days.

this could be backlog in US customs,a few days is not bad.
When trump was threatening Mexico with tariff,folks who buy 30 days supply of prescription drug from Mexico ordered as much as they can ,instead of EMS 7-10 days,it ended up 30 days ,

Is it true that DHL can clear Customs, while in the air, before landing at JFK Airport, New York,NY having in order, the necessary documents? If so, it may be worth paying the extra $10-$15 for their service. agent006140, which shipping service do you normally use, especially if you have one coming out of Mumbai, India (known drug exporter)?
I may need to find a different country to purchase my vaping liquids, accessories from huh.
They are literally pennies on our dollar there in India
