when you have the following information from a tracking number of dhl :

"The instruction data for this shipment have been provided by the sender to DHL electronically"

that means the seller have just the dhl label but did not bring yet physically the item to dhl

or the item has been already scanned by dhl worker and it is in depot ready to depart?

If it is like USPS,then it means the seller just printed a shipping label and a tracking number has been assigned.
USPS does not have the physical item.
