UPS - Package being held for a future delivery date
 

Hi, my UPS Package has arrived in the uk from hk,
it cleared customs on the tracking events , it has arrived in tamworth distribution center & been stuck on the same status now for 5 days,

DELIVERY CHANGE REQUESTED
''This package is being held for a future delivery date''

I have not requested any changes,
I have called them twice and waited approx 30 mins each time, once being told it was out for delivery, another saying just keep checking the updates, this is dragging on and becoming frustrating,

Anyone any ideas what could be the issue? or if had anything similar how long you had to wait for a update?

Yes I did eventually get it, they sent it to the wrong depot also which then delayed an extra 2 days,
It’s to do with staff shortage and things not moving so fast at this time

UPS are so not with it at the moment they currently have tons of backlog of shipments which are taking forever to be delivered
