Re: USPS click and ship

The only problem is "click-n-ship" basically uses post office rates so you can get better rates by using literally any other online postage provider.

I don't see this being a very successful program for USPS. There can't be very many business sellers who are actually logging onto USPS.com to print their shipping labels in 2020.

Paypal shipnow is the only place I know you can print shipping labels for less if you have an account with Paypal/
Ebay,it must be an Ebay sales ,other sites I know,I THINK you have to pay a fee?
where else can you buy USPS priority or express labels for less and not have to pay a monthly fee?

Pirateship is the most popular right now
Orangemailer
Shipwire

I'm sure there are a few others, but that wasn't really my point. The prices click-n-ship gives are so much higher than other postage sources that it wouldn't make sense to use click-n-ship for an e-commerce business. Plus, the last time I checked, you can't even print First Class postage (they would only allow priority/express).

I don't know if there's some kind of operating agreement USPS has with online postage companies but I've always found it odd how limited the USPS site is. You should be able to print labels for any kind of service USPS offers from their site... like you can do with any other shipping company.

Re: USPS click and ship

You are right, you cant print first class, media or parcel select labels on USPS site, and the discount they give us for priority and express is lower than if you go to the post office.
But some of the brick and mortar stores are using them and then schedule a pickup, they are not aware there are cheaper alternatives,I know some of my suppliers use them
