About Dropshipping from China on eBay
 

I'm new for aspkin forum from China, after read some posts about dropshipping from China, there are many complaints about the delivery time and fees.

As a China local sourcing for my US business partner, my partner's headache is mine. I have quoted most carriers to find a safe, faster and affordable delivery way, but It's not effort. We pick up some small shipper to try, the quot is lower than the regular shipper's, finally we lost 18% package and delay rate is higher than our regular carriers.

After this try, we reviewed our cooperation mode again and discuss many times the solutions. Finally, one of my partners changed his cooperation mode: get a small amount of items stocked in his warehouse, maybe 50 or 100pcs(depend on the package size, weight and amount of weekly sales), it's not need many spaces, he stock the item in his basement. Every Friday, I ship the same amount of products to his address, after 10 days, he can received it, in this way, we can save some delivery fees, and his custom can received item faster than before.

In this way, the pros: his custom to get an item faster than dropshipping, we can save delivery fees and time. The cons: he has to stock a litter item on his hand(nearly 2 week sale amount), I have to wait 2 weeks to get my money in my pocket, but I don't care about it, as we are regular business relationship.

Now I'm trying to persuade my other customs to follow this route, I think it's a benefit for each other.

So I don't think the dropshipping is a good way on eBay.

if they buy some of your items and keep them at home,then it is no longer dropshipping,you are their wholesalers,

it is good for your customers as they can ship to their buyers faster.
