Royal Mail Labels from eBay

Hey, all.

Quick question, if I buy the labels from eBay can I just drop them in the post box or do I have to go down to my local post office? I'm sending DVD's and Blu Rays and I remember I once sold a t-shirt in a small parcel that needed to be taken down, regardless on if it fit or not.
