Customs processing is in progress

has this happened to anybody receiving a package thru DHL

package it made it to my city in florida

then got a message to contact DHL

now its back in Cin hub with this message Customs processing is in progress

DHL Cin Ohio is the processing center which receives foreign shipments and it is where shipments clear customs.
I know thats for European shipments,not sure if it also includes rest of the world.
May be it never reach Florida,it is still in Ohio?

yes looking at tracking now

went to delivery facility in Orlando at 9:00

got a message saying contact DHL at 10:05

Customs processing is in progress in CIN HUB AT 10:30

I ditched dhl the day they made me pay for import fees of $50 for packages I ordered and the sender already paid. I use FedEx where possible now. DHL used to be reliable, but like others have diminished service

if you have a local DHL agent ,he may know why it is being rerouted to Ohio?
Or any mai service which handles DHL.UPS,

it is strange you do not know the value , US customs are very liberal , much more liberal than in all other western countries so you can be sure that it is either a question of value and how much you have you to pay or a problem with content

DHL is worldwide,bigger than UPS and Fed Exp,it is strange they will send it to Florida and then to Cin,Ohio?
I wonder if it was never in Florida,it is in Cin,OHIO ,this is where DHL planes landed
