Hi,

I have tracked my latest parcel and the status of it is in the title of this thread.

I've never seen it before so i am a little concerned. Its £$%* goods so does this mean it is being seized? :rant:

No it does not mean it is seized, it means it has passed the custom stage, and is on its way.

I am glad I found this thread, I have a problem I have not encountered to:

It is alarming that the last tracking event does not show any description of what is happening to the parcel. Moreover as it was damaged the contents I would presume can be seen. So I am naturally worried as to what is going on with this parcel, nothing like this has happened before, also it has been 5 days in customs, which is an awful long time.
If anyone can shed any light and ease my concerns then that would be great, otherwise I will just have to wait to see what the outcome is

You will have to be patient and wait on this.

no problem for your packages,it is normal.

100% be in local depot for delivery in 1-2 working days

I have also a question about ParcelForce. My package seems to be stuck. It has been in the same status now since 01-09, and now it is 11-09 (so ten days!). How long can it really be there? It is suposed to come to Finland.

The status of this parcel still hasnt changed.

Would i be ok to make a payment for some more goods to the same address as this do you think?

Arshaving :) I would call them up if I was you. It has obviously gone through the customs point, so there should be no need for this hold up. However, on my last call to PF there was a message saying about how there systems went down so there was a delay with some parcels. Saying that though, that message seems to get played a lot. Call them , there is no harm in calling. Even if it is logged as some people suggest, which I doubt anyway, who is to confirm the contents, you can just say that is not what I ordered, if it ever comes to it, which it is very highly unlikely to do so.

One more thing, should i be worried over customs?

nobody will find out how you paid for it or who you are via card, but if its seized youll get a letter saying it will be destroyed,

Ive not seen this before, it could be an error on data, but going to outward then delivery depot then back to hm customs is worrying, like it got opened, although that shouldnt happen once its got to outward stage, strange, if its correct it could be an error of some sort with charging that was realised by depot, still v odd....

I have paid for new items from dhgate and its got the same name and address as the above which could be bad do you think? I dont think i can alter delivery address on dhgate now.

I dont get what your problem with address on dhgate is, nobody is interested in telling on you there, plus customs dont know where it came from, relax, even in seizure scenario they will just chuck it on the bonfire ( or take it home for their kids) ehem.....

you could ask mods to amend the tracking info youve posted, someone at customs could see and trace via that info, not likely but I wouldnt personally put that info on open forum..

its a long time but doesnt seem overly long..good news is its on its way to postal depot...

Just for everybody's information. Nothing has happened to my parcel yet.
Still same stauts as it has been since 01-09-2010 (today over two weeks...)

I have also been in touch with PF by phone and all they say is that "we are investigating"... Seems to be a very long way from UK to Finland.

what did you sent?it is vero products?If they have open your packages,maybe there will be some problem

He is hoping to get a parcel sent to him in Finland. But it has not left the UK yet according to parcelforce.

At last I got a phonecall from ParcelForce. :faint:
They told me that they can't find my item at all.
It is lost, so no hope for that one anymore!

I am not going to use any delivery system that involves ParcelForce ever again.

So much for reliable, fast and secure deliveries! :mad:

Salomike: Call them back and speak to someone else, always good to make sure and confirm with another agent, unless the person you spoke with was overly helpful already.
