What the heck?? USPS strangeness
 

I'm just going to copy paste what I have for the tracking information. Please note that this package came from china via hong kong post air mail.

2 things I find strange, 1 is I don't live within 15 hours of montgomery, alabama. And 2 is the fact that in 3 hours time it was back in san francisco, and it says accepted/picked up? Is this just san francisco delay in tracking? Also shouldn't it be in transit? I live on the east coast, so alabama was definitely closer than california. Anyone else have similar problems like this? It's coming up on 2 days its said that, and its starting to make me think I should call USPS and get some better information.

Really its just a debate of whether to wait till the 2nd to call, but some kind of tracking information should have been updated by now in my opinion

USPS is not always up to date with their tracking. Many things could of happen. The package could of been misrouted due to postal employee error. You have to calculate the 2 or 3 hours timezone difference too from AL to CA.

Some international shipping use the post office to have it enter into the USA and then it is forwarded over to a secondary shipping company like Fed-ex,UPS, or DHL to have it delivered. The status saying it was "accepted/pickup" may be an indication that it was picked up by another carrier. Otherwise it would of said "Delivered"
I have had that happen to me before where I ordered something from over seas and and the tracking was from USPS and then it changed over to Fed-Ex.
I suspect that this is the case. Just wait couple more days.

Tracking has been brutal last few weeks to say the least. I am seeing updates showing where it was 4 days before. But updated 4 days late. Some buyers are getting cranky... That time of year I guess

it arrived at my door today. Lol

Thanks for your feedback! Now I know that anything by HK post tracks all weird. I'm guessing picked up meant picked up my the post office down here

USPS sucks on "average" with their tracking update...the only time I ever seen tracking come in right on time is in small towns of 25-30K people.

Don't worry about it either because it is getting closer and closer to the season, and don't forget Black Friday. People are still trying to ship out still...
