When does DHGATE DHL tracking show online
 

How long does DHL tracking show online on DHL website when my order is shipped from seller on DHgate?

Should show the same day it was shipped - DHL is fairly fast on updating their shipping...

If you were given a number that starts with a 6 then it will not show up.
The seller will update the 6 tracking number with one that starts with 8.

The 8 number will show tracking about 24-36 hours, in most cases, after the seller has given it to you.

exactly. most sellers put in some bogus tracking number right away to make the dhgate gods happy. then, as HWGA said, about 24 hours or so after that, they'll replace the bogus # with the real one.

TRIG thats exactly what I thought. I been fighting with this seller about this. So does this means that when they enter bogus number the package have not even been shipped yet, then when they enter real number its been shipped?

Because I paid Monday night and it still has bogus number and seller keeps saying it will update soon. But its Friday now and the seller says he shipped out days ago.


Also how long after real track number is entered does the package takes to arrive?

Ive been waiting since I paid for orders last week, what I am told by several sellers is that they are way behind, DHL I mean, not looking good, I have actual track numbers that are just stagnent.

One of my sellers will always enter in the tracking numbers that start with a 6. Then within 3-4 days he will change it to one that starts with a 8. On my last order they never changed from 6 to 8 and he told me they were shipped already. Next day I came home from work and sure enough the packages were on my doorstep.

OMG, did you happen to notice if the DHL number on the package was a 6 or an 8?

Also, DHL used to use different initial digits. 1, 3, and 9 were often used, but I have not seen a 6 on an actual delivery.

My tracking numbers all have started with 8 the last 4-5 months. Never with a 6

it is unfair for the tracking have not updated,maybe they use the small shipping agent or your goods might be got some problem.Just keep contacting your supplier and keep push them.

ordered monday and nothing yet expect ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking. The seller doesnt get the money until I get the product and OK. HE states he shipped it out days ago but have not updated tracking because he is waiting on DHL..

Now he is ignoring me and my request. I contacted DHgate and there looking into and going to refund me.


So if indeed he did ship out I got some free products, next time he should learn how to use better communication and quit putting in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking to satisfy DHGATE

try to seach on dhl.com "track by reference number"

some times my supplier will give me the reference number instead.

China is HUGH, and ther are only a Handful of DHL Locations throughout China,,,So A LOT of sellers use "Shipping Agents" as Mentioned by Teedon above.

These Agents Pick up and Drive the Packages to the Nearest DHL Location,,Depending on where the package Starts form it could be 2-3 DAY Drive there,,, Then customs has to Inspect the Package,,that can take 3-4 Days,,Then DHL Gets it, Thats when you get the REAL Tracking Number,,,the First Number was as Trig above said to appease the DHGate Gods,,Dhl then takes 3-4 Days to get the package to you,,,so the Whole Process can take 8-11 Days,,,


Also A LOT Of Sellers on DHGate also Dropship,,,So you order,,,, and they Foward your order to a Dropshipper and that takes some time,,,Did you really think all those Sellers sold All of those Items Like Curling Irons,,,Cell Phones,,Team Jerseys,,and Perfume all Under the Same Roof,,,they are simply Dropshipping those items for Different Dropshippers,,,

Funny after I did a refund dispute request, same day I got a updated tracking number and he declined the request to refund.

The tracking still didnt change yet. Is this normal? Still says the same thing And my tracking number now starts with a 9

Also, most of the Chinese sites are not quick to refund. They will try to do everything to keep your money. Offer different sellers, different products, drag out the dispute time so your dispute case expires and you have to order something else on their site.

THX.. Yea Im pretty smart with them trying to drag it out, thats why im following DHgate dispute time. I paid with a credit card too not paypal so i can always contact my bank.


So you all thinking by wed. I should get? Hope i get it before I leave time because the package is gifts for family

Wednesday dead on. it came

Today a shipment came in by DHL with a waybill number beginning with 6. That has never happened before. This time the initial 6 number wasn't changed. It even showed up in DHL tracking.

Yeah I always recommend just ordering always ahead of time and not even pay much attention to the tracking number unless its been over 2 weeks and you still haven't got it. Most the times it will arrive, unless your ordering major foofoo items, so don't worry to much about it nor waste much time on it.
