Shipping labels

Currently I use priority mail to ship everythin as I can pay/print at home and drop it off without waiting at the post office. Is there a way to do this with parcel post? Thanks

You can print labels through Stamps.com or Encidia.com

Preference of one over the other? Also didn't some people say thy use thermal printers for the labels and such? Sorry for the repeat questions

Stamps.com and Endicia.com will work with any laser or inkjet printer. I know that Endicia also has Dymo Label writers, but the labels are expensive.

I much prefer to use the normal 2 per sheet labels. That way, I can buy them on eBay for $30 per thousand or so. The Dymo ones are like $19.95 for 100 labels. Twenty cents is too much to spend for s sticky piece of paper, IMHO.

I have a question regarding shipping labels...I heard even when you have an ebay payment on the 21-day hold, paypal still releases the shipping funds when you pay/print through them.

I tried it today, and they say I dont have enough available to pay the shipping. Is there a trick to making it work where they release only the shipping fees?
Thanks!!

The only trick I know of is having is sending money from another pp to the paypal that has to print labels. Like $6 bucks depending on what your are shipping. With that $6.00 you can print labels for each item you sold

everytime you print a label for a transaction that is on hold....

after 5-10 minutes after they release that shipping fee from the transaction that is on hold

and you repeat this process and it will only cost you $6 out of pocket or one of your paypals.

I always send tiny amounts between my paypal accounts and never got snagged .. Thats Just me though.

You can always attach a cc to a paypal using the AVS trick and send that shipping amount you need...

:)

Any preference between stamps or endicia? Also how much does the service cost (I am very busy/lazy this week, more on the busy side)?

I actually pay less than 2 cents each for the thermal labels (4 x 6) for my Zebra printer. The fact that I don't have to worry about toner is a big plus, and more than likely reduces the cost another penny because I don't have to buy any printer supplies.
