shipping problem
 

well~ I order some package from China and I told to the shipper change my zip code to start with 1 first so the package can go through NY customs. But now the problem is I trick on my package and it shows that the package was not delivred successfully and I called the post office and they said is because of the wrong zip code. They told me that i have to contact the shipper and tell them to correct the address but my shipper told me that he can't do it once the package is not longer in China. So what can I do now??

In many cases, the postal service is no longer forwarding packages when the wrong zip code is placed on the package. They KNOW that people would prefer that some packages go through New York, and they don't like this.

Most likely, the package will be sent back to China.

Don't know how it works for usps.

The zipcode thing is not that important in China,even if the address is wrong,they would call the reciever to fix it as long as there is phone number provided upon the package.

Ask your supplier to fax the sender form to shipping company and tell them to change the zip code or address.But it will not valid until the goods come to the wrong address firstly.

Wow! Why don't every delivery service do this!? Encourage people to place the receivers contact number(s) on the parcels and then they can contact them in any problems.

That would be to easy!
