my item got handed over to customs.
 

okay so my item got handed over to customs and then got released. does this mean i am going to receive it. here is the tracking.

Guangzhou is in China, it will update when it arrives at the US.

I would not stop panicking yet, wait until it is released from customs in the US first ;)

i,ve had luck if i package was checked in china its was not usally stop by us customs

The customs agent was paid a lump sum of money to let your item clear. That way the factory can keep doing business.

That's not such a far fetched theory either...

You also have to understand that Customs in China has different priorities than US Customs.

Handed over to China Customs and Released from China Customs means absolutely nothing. Every package will pass because they got paid to let them go.

You will know how it feels when your tracking number says "your item is being processed by USA Customs" and nothing happens for 3,4 or 5 days; San Francisco is a dead for me so I stopped sending packages by that port of entry.

Yeah, i just made it on a 7 dayer in ny customs.. finally released. I was thinking that, why do all these sellers give it to a courier company first? Then i realized, there is shady people in the china customs that pass these "couriers" shipments, i wanna know more about this "scene" Ill have to ask more questions with a supplier
