Shipping large items
 

Hi everyone,

I sold a large item on ebay (actually it is a baby jumper), and today I went to UPS to ship it but for my surprise they charge $70:shocked:
I had check shipping fees from others ebay sellers and they charge around $20 (and I did the same). So anyone can help with this issue? How can I ship it cheaper?

Try using USPS instead.

Keep in mind that powersellers gets automatic discount when using eBay/Paypal shipping tools.

For large packages, it is more about box size than about weight.

If you can re-package it into a smaller parcel the price will decrease.

Usps might be cheaper i never use ups because of the high pricing but i also dont ship anything over three pounds

you should NEVER compare shipping with other sellers or use what they use. A lot of those guys have contracts with UPS who use UPS which gives them discounts. You on the other hand do not get those discounts so its pointless to try and use other sellers shipping. It will usually end up costing you a lot more in the end.

Also USPS doesnt allow you to show "larger" items with them.
