Shipping to APO box
 

I was wondering if anyone has experience shipping electronics to APO boxes. I have a friend in the military that says that he has had things stolen or gone missing if the customs form declares the item as a higher value item. Should I list the price of the item as a lot lower than it's actual cost? It was sold for $80, but I was thinking about listing it as $20 on the customs form. Thank you for your feedback!

I ship quite a few times to APO box. I declare it as gift on custom form. Have not had problems.

Yeah, I ended up declaring everything correctly on the custom's form. I figured I would try to do everything correctly until I ran into problems. Just like I did with Amazon until they gave my perfectly good standing account the boot.

80 USD is not too much high ,so it is ok to declare the correct value on it.But if the value is too high,you may consider the other way.
