Cincinnati CUSTOMS is doing it again with Xmas around the corner
 

I have certain number of Amazon accounts enough for living well and retire young; so far everything going smooth and ready for the big season.

The only thing now is DHL Cincinnati Customs. I had 3 packages this week seized; all different shippers to different locations and different receivers coming on different planes.

All three seized. Yes, the thing was inside!

Anyone having the same problems lately or is only me?

How do you get your merchandise safely to your location?

What shipper seems to be the best for you prior Xmas 2011?

I think it's crack down month. Both of my shipment are currently in "clearance delay" and it has been 3 days already.

My first post would have to be on this topic. I too am stuck in clearance delay, Cincinnati. Guess my Prayers weren't answered that my package would go through smoothly. Feel sorry for all the sellers on feebay that are pre-selling items before they actually clear customs.

I had over a dozen packages go thru cincinnati customs with ZERO issues within the past 4 days. I take you most of you are buying PHAKES?

Pre selling is dumb. Learned my lesson..order early and extras

In the last 3 weeks I've noticed a lot of pre-sales on ebay, all in dvd category. I know most of the sellers are getting from China. Chinese sellers are now starting to sell a lot of items they don't actually have in hand. So us sellers are throwing up 30 copies of something they "think" will be in on time. I see a lot of negative feedbacks in a lot of seller's future.

Preselling? More like scamming. Good luck with all that.

I don't think anyone's scamming. Its just the Chinese are saying they have things that they don't truly have yet(that's why it takes them four days to ship something they say is in stock) and some US sellers are listing them before they actually have them in hand(stupid on their part). And now with customs cracking down a lot of US sellers are gonna be in a world of trouble. I NEVER list before anything passes through customs.

It's because you are buying from a 3rd party. They goto china market and pickup what you request

All things go well ,no issue for the packages to usa recently .When you shipping the goods ,you need to packing the goods well and decare reasonable name.

Nothing is wrong with dhl, so stop making these threads. Obviously your f@ke sh!t will get seized if thats how you are trying to make money. Nothing will get seized if you are buying and selling legally.
