USPS Arrival at Pick-Up Point

It's an express package and I have only seen this message once before.
It should mean that the item is at the local post office for pick up, but the last time I saw this message, it was preceeded by a message about delivery attempted, and therefore the person should now go to pick it up.

Now, the problem is my buyer in USA is telling me he contacted USPS and they do not know which 'pick-up point' it is at, and are threatening to open a claim against me for INR. They're making accusations that I cheaped out on the shipping, which is why he has to go pick it up instead of it being delivered, but he cannot find out where he needs to pick it up from..

Any advice? Does his claim even have any chance of winning?

I'm not sure how that's going to go down but man I don't think you could set it up that way if you wanted to. That it doesn't even get an attempted delivery...

if your parcel is going to the USA and i see you are from NZ you can call USPS for free from skype, you just dial the 1-800 toll free number, I call USA toll free numbers on skype and im in the UK (There number is on there website somewhere) and you can try get down to the bottom of this yourself as i am sure the post office will know what depot it is at since the parcel are scanned at every point, even if it does not show on the tracking number.

This buyer is just trying to scare you, You have your proof of postage from your post office etc...so if you have done it all properly then you have nothing to worry about.
Personally if it were me and a buyer actually went ahead with this, i would get him for defermation of character amoung other things .

I could try and have USPS redirect it back to me if thats possible, since I do have proof of delivery and all that. Maybe I'd contact it from my post office's end, but they're both closed now so I'll try it tomorrow.

If it does get redirected back to me, does this reflect in the tracking? Because I've never actually had anything be sent back.
