Talked to JFK last week on a lost package... and it still hasn't shown up. My boy sal says Customs is 7-9 days behind right now. So inbound to customs from now until christmas probably means = no products to sell :/



Dumb move, people bought more than i thought they would and i am OOS on hot sellers... *sighs*

After December 1st, most packages are not going to show up. Learn this for next time.

Start stocking up in October. Seriouly. Works for me.

I got 1 in sf been there for a week, still hoping for the best

7th got released on the 11th and 2 just in today, so hoping i will receive for a crazy upcoming weekend, If not oh well, did have 1 skip customs, hopefully can pound those out this week quick.

I had two packages from China using ems this december... I have to admit, I was a bit paranoid they would be seized because of the christmas season...

Turned out to go through fine

I had a Fed-Ex arrive Friday a DHL and an EMS arrive today. =}

My package is stating this. Usually I see it "inbound to customs" then "custom clearance" but never seen it go from inbound to Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

my stuff is going through customs in about 2 days compared to the 2 hours in november. it also depends on which customs office it is going through

My stuff has been taking a full day to get through customs in Chicago, vs. the usual 2 or 3 hours it usually takes. My problem is it's taking forever for the **** to get out of China.

You had better order the goods before this month or after new year ,as it will sure affect the delivery as usual.

Ususally it is easy for the goods come out of china.

Anyone ever had their package go from Inbound Into Customs to Origin Post is Preparing Shipment?

Doesnt it usually go from Inbound to customs, clearing customs first?



Mine shows Inbound to customs then Orgin Post is preparing shipment.

Mine just even worse, anyone knows what's going on?:surrender:
It's been sitting in the Customs for 6days already (5 working days)

Thats got seizure written all over it surely...

NY is backed up big time in customs. Someone just mentioned it in another thread.

Just call and ask. Even if they tell you it's seized, at least you know to start the process of talking to your supplier and what not vs. just waiting around...

A few of my suppliers say po po has been cracking down on foo foo factories over there. I dont even have tracking info on one of my packages. I dont know if I got ripped off or what. I asked my seller whats up with the tracking all they can tell me is that the factory is having problems. This is coming from a top rated seller.

Seize is one thing. When you can't even get the stuff out of China or a reshipment then all you can do is call your CC and try and get the charge dropped.

ems tracking is horrid lately too. i had one package delivered today that still shows in transit

use usps.com, don't use ems.com

Five working days,the possiblity of being seized is pretty big.

There's no reasons for them to seized it. It's just a regular brand new Japanese cell phone, nothing else. So I guess it just still sitting in the customs, right? :>

If your item is not counterfeit, they you probably WILL receive it.

My guess, from posts I've seen, is that Customs is having a crackdown in NY. When that happens, they take every package received within a certain time frame and inspect ALL of them for anything counterfeit or that is otherwise illegal.

When that happens, legitimate packages get held up too.

I hope this wasn't a Christmas present!
