what does the term "Due on receipt" mean?
 

i just paid for my supplies and it stated on the receipt
Payment terms - Due on receipt

its a new seller and i never came across this term in such invoices i paid for the item and the seller did not ship out the package yet does that mean i pay for the package when i receive the goods just want to make things clear just in case the seller trying to pull something

It means when you get the invoice the amount asked for as payment is due (to be paid) or

Due on receipt.
