UK sellers sending items abroad - safety tips ?
 

Hi , I'm selling items in the price range of £10 to £70 online and now and again
I'm getting paypal disputes as I didnt used to send items recorded delivery , even though I always kept PO receipts , so the buyers are always getting thier money back , this happens more with people on ebay than ioffer which I also use . I'm now sending out all paypal UK orders recorded delivery but the price to send something recorded delivery outside the UK is an additional £5 I've been told , and with items I'm selling that only cost £10 thats a considerable chunk of my profits gone . Was wondering what do other UK sellers selling lower cost items use if they need to send items abroad , is there any cheaper way to get something tracked abroad without spending all your profits ?

I use RM International Signed for for all items I post internationally, value £100-500. I make sure buyer covers more than the postage costs for the item.

I have never used any other couriers, but other couriers such as Fedex/Parcelforce/DHL maybe faster and cheaper. I may have to look into this....
