USPS mail carrier bad error
 
This is a first for me. I had 40 packages ready to go on my porch yesterday all with DC/Priority Mail.

About 2 hours after dumba$$ picks up my stuff, I start getting emails from buyers wondering why there items were delivered 200+ miles from there house. Turns out, when this idiot scanned all of the packages he scanned them as delivered instead of "received by postal carrier."

so now I wait to see if 40 packages come back to me today and what on earth i do about the $200 i spent on the shipping for said items.

anyone ever go thru this before. i have to imagine this is not a first, but it is the first time it has happened to me.

It's only a mistake on their part, no need to call them dumb***. People make mistakes all the time all the time.

But regarding the lost packages, only thing to do is wait and see what happens.

More than likely, they will be delivered to the customers properly. Only the scan was mistaken, not the shipment.

1 or 2 is a mistake. i dont give them shipping manifests, so they have to scan them all individually. what really irritates me is all of the emails i am getting and having to turn around and explain this 40 times

It happens, email your customers politely and explain the situation they should understand.
