Package Held in US Customs
 

Sent a package to a customer in Russia. All I get on the tracking number is "Held in US Customs for further inspection".


It's an electronic, no funny stuff.

All I get on the tracking number is : "Electronic Shipping Info Received" and next is "Held in US Customs"

What is your question? Have you tried contacting the shipping carrier?

There are some electronic devices that may NOT be shipped to certain countries, or outside of the US in general.

You might want to take a look at the CBP (Customs & Border Patrol) website to see if your item is on the list.

After reading it around, it seems this happens sometimes. Should be released soon apparently.

Didn't know that packages leaving the US, might stop by at US Customs. Seemed peculiar..

Yes, just like packages coming in... some are inspected, but not all. Good luck!

Your laptop might of just flagged the random electronic reader - bit of patience should help as it clears up.
