Customs tracking question
 

Just wondering if the US/Canadian border customs keep records/track what you import and how often based on your address. Do they keep a log of the return and sender address and build a profile for each sender/receiver?

I assume they handle a lot of packages on a daily basis and therefore can't track everybody, but can anyone confirm what they actually do when they receive a customs form?

Can they for instance flag your address and then have to screen all of the packages that they receive with your name/address on it?

We're an ebay forum not a shipping forum. Need more info than what you have shared.

what do you mean by be more specific?
one of my packages were seized and i was asking if sending another one with the same return address mean that it will be seized/flagged as well?

judging by the reponses though i believe the question is yes? not quite sure still considering the volume of imports and exports in and out of the country.

We needed that reply for accuracy.

Yes the address is now flagged.

Yes the address is in the database.

thanks for clearing that up, but does that only occur in the case of a seizure?
