DHL Clearance delay? anybody else had this before? what does it mean?

It most likely means that US customs will inspect the package, I beat it landed in LA.

its not USA it is in UK...

Oh sorry, the little flag thing is not showing up.

Still, with the olympics right now, UK customs are on high level. I would still expect a search.

Lots of suppliers from other countries are refusing to ship to the UK cuz of the wait time from the olympics.

i know EMS was getting delays but thourt DHL was ontop of that?

Nope, most of the agencies have some delays.

It appears to have cleared Hong Kong in less than 3 hours.

That's not unreasonable.

Nothing more after 06:30am?

Next update should define the situation more.

I'd wait a little longer B4 having a panic.

lol not a panic attack... just curious as never seen that before! was just seeing if anybody else had and whst out come camo of it ;)

Have had DHL take 4 days inbound in mid-December.

No tracking update....then delivered.

Had another parcel from them take 6 weeks. :eek:

6 weeks.... thsts shocking... hopefully will get an update soon (fingers crossed)
will keep every1 informed anyway ;)

just checked on the shipment and now it is saying...

Never seen this before.

I use DHL for all my orders, usually 1 or 2 per week arriving into the UK. The longest I have ever seen a custom clearance take is 2 hours. This is at East Midlands hub.

I would agree with nobody999 that it could be seized. Have you phoned them to find out what the issue is?

Rang DHL and thay recon parcel is being held for inspection and all being well and good should start moving Monday... Might aswell kiss it good bye :(

parcel has been held for inspection and it has finally been released :)

I thort it was a gonner as it had some vero but its been let out and should be with me tomorrow ;-)
