What QL-700 Label Tape Can I Use?

Hey guys,

I recently purchased myself a QL-700 label printer and noticed that the recommended DK 2205 tape is about $18. I'm looking for a generic brand to minimize shipping costs.



What tape recommendations should I try?
Am I limited to using "thermal tape" since this is a Direct Thermal printer or will any roll work?



I'm currently looking at THIS listing. Is this a good price for labels or do people usually get them for cheaper?

Yes, I've been looking around for answers, hence why I created an account - because most of those posts deal with the older model QL-500

The inexpensive replacement rolls work fine, if the plastic holder is cut in half with a small hacksaw.
