International Hub Received and processed?

I have never encountered this before, Parcel Force and EMS are showing different things on tracking.

Parcel Force:

Any suggestions? Looking more and more like it has been seized to me =/

bit early to tell, but does not look that good.

Have you made allowances for extra delays due to the larger volume of transit packages incoming/outgoing due to Christmas looming around the corner ???

I would also consider contacting the carriers &/or the holding hub directly to get a status on this.

I'd phone them-more quicker & direct response.

I'd also give this a few more working business days to be processed.

Got a standardized email response:

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your parcel and can understand how frustrating the delay must be for you. I must advise you that your parcel is currently with the UK Border Agency awaiting customs clearance.



As the UKBA are a separate organisation from Parcelforce Worldwide, I must advise we have no control over the length of time they take to process parcels. Due to this, I am sorry I cannot give a definite date when your parcel will clear with UK Border Agency and be released back to Parcelforce Worldwide.

Once your item has cleared Customs, it will be sent on to your local depot within 2 working days of being released by the UKBA.



If no customs charges have been raised on your parcel, delivery will be attempted the first possible working day.



If there are charges raised on your parcel your item will be held at your local depot pending payment of these charges. We will send a letter of notification regarding the charges raised with a 17-digit number required for us to take payment.

I take it you have nothing being shipped that is considered illicit or contravenes any legislation ???

I'd normally give them a 28 day clearance time though the sooner the better.

Just an update, I received my item a few days ago

Simply enter the parcel number in the box opposite and select 'Track'.

Had 5 parcels through with very quickly 3-5 days, some on at the same time yet have 2parcels stuck in the international hub "recieved and processed "

Over a month based on the tracking info and when he claims to have received it.
