USPS Tracking not updating.. Christmas Fault? 2012
 

Lately i've had a lot of packages(with tracking) just stop tracking... some a couple weeks now no updates, others a few days....
any one else experiencing this?
any know why? Can it be because of Christmas and millions of packages needing to be shipped and some just ''get lost''??
pointless in calling usps cause all they do is open up a case to investigate and "call" you back within one business day.... but they NEVERRRRR do

Not having any luck with USPS out of the West Coast.

Shows items 'at the airport' so to speak. Then nothing. One parcel actually arrived in OZ before the update/ :doh:

Nothing about others.

However, out of FLORIDA, it's been like diary entries. Nothing missed.
Considering it was the first time I had used the FL sellers, it has been encouraging.

Still, it would not be the holidays if we were not waiting for the post

yea its ridiculous...so many packages just disappear

I would imagine USPS is the same as royal mail at the xmas period .
They double there workforce in this period with temp labour.
These temp employees have less morales than the standard employee .
They see something they consider interesting and they all of a sudden cant resist from diverting it from its delivery course .
Something well packed in a nice box must have a value !
These are like cakes to a fat kid for the royal mail temp...

Man this seriously sucks...had a package that I paid $600 for coming from China via EMS. Since December 11th is says 'inbound into customs'. The items aren't branded or anything so I don't see why they would seize it and if they seized it, wouldn't the tracking # say so? Guessing those idiots lost it. How do you loose a package!

Same problems shipping from west coast... lazy a$$ workers

Don't ship from Hawaii then.

Went through the main terminal there some years back.

The cool, laid back atmosphere had nothing to do with the fact it was Hawaii. Had more to do with what the airport workers were 'enjoying' to smoke.
Bless their hearts they were offering boarding passengers some :eek:

GB is the queen of white and green in the post...add some red around holidays and she DOMinates the postal service.

Dontcha know that the usps is the useless postal service? I once sent a package from 33317 to orlando, fl (32809 and a 3 1/2 hr drive from here) and didnt get to customer until 2 weeks later

If it was that close, why not ship the item yourself, which according to you it's only a 3.5 hour drive.

You have to understand, USPS is the world's largest mail service. They cant satisfy everyone.

China Mail employs around 200,000 more staff than USPS in 2012 .

I am not talking about size in employees, I meant in mailing stuff.

This seems to be normal, sometimes its great, sometimes its patch, sometimes i don't see jack until its already there then somehow every single entry suddenly appears.

Its not lost.....its just flakey updates.

I will get some buyers from time to time asking why I have not shipped their package :lol: then I have to explain this exact thing to them...:typing:

USPS excelled themselves for this holiday period.

Of 15 parcels all paid to be there before 12/24/2012, two arrived.

Remainder are not yet delivered.

That includes international & domestic deliveries.
