I have now had 2 parcels siezed has anyone got a methods at avoiding the over zealous little sods .Tried using a family members address and that was siezed as well
is there a better method than ems from china ??
Any help or info greatfully recieved

DHL is usually the way to go if you are importing branded goods for most of us here...

EMS is NOT recommended at all...

your supplier should have informed you

Still we needs do what we needs do.

Always avoid family addresses.
Try to be professional & consider a proper business address.
Establish a working relationship with your seller.
Look for new items to sell ;)

thanks for all your help any ideas ref best way of getting a stealth address for deliveries i was thinking of hiring a mailbox facility in kent does anyone else use mail box address,s

or better still what is the best carrier for getting vero items to me :humble:

Here is what I do when I import goods from abroad.
First, I use dhl. Second, I find the address where no one lives ( estate auctions are the best place). Third, I call dhl when goods are here in their warehouse, pay import duty and REDIRECT the package to a different address which I have access. All the best!!!!!!!!

Slightly risky, if somehow your package was to not get stopped and import duty slapped on, your package would go out for delivery to this address...

it can go for the delivery as it happened with me already few times in the past but if you put vacant building the package will go back to warehouse because no one will be able to sign for it.

Must be a UK thing because North America, EMS is much better than DHL from reading around and discussing experiences.
