Clearance Delay DHL
 

Seen this crop up a few times on here but the first one I've ever encountered.

The goods are unbranded and the declaration of whats in the parcel is correct.

I'm UK based, anyone help me with this situation.

Clearance delay is not something to be worried about just yet. No one knows the exact formula but certain aspects of shipments randomly subject them to extra scrutiny. On the flip side just because it is not branded does not mean it is not going to get seized. Certain patented goods are subject to intellectual property violations just like branded goods.

Only experience I have been seeing is that for the large part, custom delays with DHL result in seizure but rarely, they can clear with no problems. You will have to wait.

Cannot find anything on clearance delay? The items are just printed boxes and lables.

Not. Even 24hr yet tho so could be panicking for nothing

Hi I have 2 small parcels delayed in Hong Kong for the last 2 days, usually they are out of there in less then a day??

Shipment information received has been the status.

They may just be inspecting your goods which can take a few takes for them to be sure they are NOT branded.

If they arent as you said you shouldnt have a problem
