Chinese New Year

All,

I have ordered packages just before the end of January and they have been assigned a DHL waybill number in Hong Kong.

Since the 1st of Feb it still says shipment information received and nothing since.

Does anyone know if there are any DHL pickups for air freight before China go on holiday?

chances there might be delay, if it still dont change then it would have to come after the holidays are over.
i was going to order something yday, seller told me he would send it same day but checked with courier and found out that once it reaches hong kong it wouldnt move from there until holidays. i had placed an ordered but then canceled it, luckily didnt pay for it.

i hate the fact that some sellers frm china are proper greedy like they just want ur money and would stuff you with any lies to get orders in, on the other hand you get the nice ones too.

Thursday the 7th, everything in China shuts down for the spring festival. Business resumes the 17th. I had the same issue as you - what was supposed to be a 3 day shipment to me ended up being 10 days. I was told by my supplier that because they were trying to send so many packages out before the Lunar New Year, things were behind a bit. I waited over 3 days of my packages saying "shipping label created" before its showed any type of acceptance. From there it was another 3 days before showing another scan in Hong Kong. Then another 3 days sitting in customs clearance in China, THEN finally hitting the US and arriving the last day.

No problem, if your supplier is still available ask them if they can check the status of your shipment just to be sure its going out. If they are already on holiday...well its a waiting game. Just keep checking your tracking. DHL is usually fast for me.

Usually fast for me aswell can receive to my door on day 4 BUT everyone ships packages out just before New Year so prob a big backlog
